What this site is
The companion site to the book Fix the Floor. It offers a self-assessment, a research map and printable worksheets, all free. The book itself is sold by Amazon; nothing is sold through this site.
The self-assessment is not medical advice
The scores this site calculates — the Baseline Mirror Score, the pillar scores and the Healthspan Score — are self-assessments. They are a mirror, not a verdict, and not a diagnosis. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always seek the guidance of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
If a result concerns you, take it to a doctor. If you are having thoughts of harming yourself, please contact a health professional or a crisis service without delay.
The research map
The Healthspan Map summarizes published research and names its sources so you can read them yourself. It is a summary of evidence, not a recommendation for you personally, and evidence changes. We correct it as it does, and any correction that changes a score is published on the errata page.
What you may do with what is here
The worksheets are yours to print and use, for yourself, as many times as you like.
The text, figures and research map on this site are the author’s copyright. Please do not republish them or make them available elsewhere.
What we do not promise
We try to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, or that every figure is free of error. Where something is wrong we correct it and record the correction.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, and the Czech courts have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer-law rules of the country you live in.
